Synopsis

The present world is lies, dreams, and darkness... Night is the truth. Edogawa Rampo's eerie erotic world of bizarreness, shame, beauty, and fantasy is unfolding. Director Noboru Tanaka and star Junko Miyashita reunite after their 1975 film, "A Woman Called Abe Sada." Junko Miyashita plays a Taisho-era noblewoman, exuding a mysterious allure in her mysterious Western attire. This film is an adaptation of Edogawa Ranpo's novel "The Attic Wanderer," which tells the story of a man who wanders the attic day and night, spying on the lives of others and eventually committing murder.
