A dream team of leading Egyptologists guides us through Ancient Egypt’s founding myths, retracing the adventures of supernatural beings such as Ra, Isis, Osiris, Seth, Horus and many more. We discover not only how these figures are as fascinating today as they were 4,000 years ago, but also how they can be considered on par with all modern “super-heros with super-problems stories”.

What does the god Ra have to do with the Force that powers the Star Wars universe? What do the great sorceress Isis and Wanda the enchantress of the Avengers have in common?

In each episode, a particular archaeological discovery is explored in depth, recounted by the archeological teams involved in the findings, thus adding a new piece to that complex cultural puzzle in which art, storytelling and spirituality meet.
