One More Jump
Directed by
Emanuele Gerosa

When Abdallah – founder of the Gaza Parkour Team – was invited to Europe, a few years ago, he decided not to return to Gaza. His friend and teammate Jehad still lives in the Strip. Every day he trains the youngest members of the team: only sport can keep their hopes alive… he too dreams of leaving Palestine. One day Abdallah decides that the time has come to join the main European parkour competition in Sweden, and to confront reality. In the same days Jehad finally receives the visa he has been waiting years for…Can you ever be free if you must leave everything you love behind?
- "It’s into the midst of the young Palestinians practicing [parkour], which first appeared in the 1990s on the streets of the inner Parisian suburbs, that director Emanuele Gerosa plunges us with his documentary film One More Jump- an especially significant, evocative yet never rhetorical work which demonstrates respect and sensitivity towards the painful and frustrating situation faced by these youngsters."
- "The beautiful presentation and serious subject matter make “One More Jump” a worthy watch for everyone interested in the reality of Palestine’s youth."
