Killing Ed
Directed by Mark Hall
Synopsis
Award-winning director Mark S. Hall returns with KILLING ED, a feature film exposing a shocking truth: the largest network of taxpayer-funded charter schools in the U.S. hid a worst-case-scenario - that they operated with questionable academic, labor, and visa standards by members of the “Gülen Movement”, a rapidly expanding, global Islamic group whose leader, Fethullah Gülen, lives in self-imposed exile after accusations of leading a violent coup against the Turkish government. A first-hand look inside the Gülen Movement, KILLING ED crafts never-before-seen interviews with hidden-camera footage to reveal the corruption of those attempting to privatize US public schools.
